Hey guys! It’s me! Molly! Raegan said that some of her readers wanted to hear from me so here I am! I feel so honored that I received a special request for a blog post. I guess you guys really like me!
Today is June 18 and that means that it is my 1/2 birthday! I am six months old today and, boy, did I celebrate! I acted like a party animal all day long. I think that Raegan and Lauren expected me to be all grown up today but I made sure to remind them that I’m still a bit of a baby.
Now that I am six months old, there are some things that I know how to do that I couldn’t do when I was younger:
- I still try to chew on my leash all the time but I’m really smart! When my Mom walks me,
she gives me a toy. I do our full mile walk with the toy in my mouth. That way I can walk with a toy WHILE keeping my teeth OFF of my leash! Is that called multi-tasking? - I’m not afraid of stairs anymore. In fact, I play on the stairs every day! I put a bunch of toys on the steps and then just hang out on the staircase. If my family members can’t find me, they know to look for me on the steps.
- I eat my meals more regularly than I did when I was younger. I used to be a really picky eater and I am getting so much better about completing my meals.
- I entertain myself. I used to need someone playing with me all the time but now I am content playing with a toy by myself. It is a lot of fun and I can stay busy for hours! I have tons of interesting toys so there is never a shortage of something to do!
You might think that it sounds like I’m all grown up but, don’t worry! I’m not growing up THAT fast. I’m still a baby in some ways. I still wake up really early and I’m still working on my listening skills. I guess that’s why I go to school with my Mom and Dad on Sundays.
I’m sure that if I pay attention, Raegan will let me write about what I’m learning in school. I’ll have to talk to Raegan about that and think about paying attention!
